| Jamie and the Bunny Shirt |
|
For those of you who have seen the photos of the signed Bamber Bunny Shirt and wonder what it’s all about… let me briefly explain. Last year I designed a “Bamber Bunny” t-shirt as a gift for SyllverViper who I was going to visit in Canada. Initially, I only had 2 shirts made, one for her and one for myself. We had our photograph taken in them and so many of the bunnies liked them.
I began having more made for the bunnies that wanted one. In December, I decided to send one of these t-shirts around the world, to be signed by as many of the bunnies who post on the Jamie “Apollo” Bamber Thread as possible. The idea was then to present this to Jamie as a gift from all his bunnies at the Grand Slam convention in California in April. The t-shirt went to Tasmania, Chile, Sweden, Germany, Canada, and all over the U.S. We duly took the t-shirt to the convention and showed it to Jamie. He seemed genuinely touched by the gesture and all the effort that had gone into its preparation. He said he’d hang it on his wall. Here is the fully signed shirt and us presenting it to Jamie:

Since the initial first Bunny Shirt "Gifting" we've made a habit of tricking Jamie's castmates into donning the now-infamous pink bunny Tee. Aaron Douglas was our first brave soul, slicking on a women's medium and fangirlishly hugging Jamie before taking part in our group photo.
Tahmoh Penikett wanted to wear the shirt, but the evil Creation Con woman scared him into having us just hold it up. (Bi's note: He said "Hold it up to me, all sexy-like. And I guess I got a little over excited. Sorry, Tahmoh's leg)
Katee Sackhoff, at the same convention, was apparently made of braver stuff. She even promised to wear it under her flight suit. Not sure if this ever happened, but we can pretend.
And the latest man to appear "in the pink" was Mr. Edward James Olmos, who asked to keep both the Fangirl Pink and the More Manly Black versions of the shirt (the black has the new logo on it) and traded us lots of hugs for the shirts. A bargain, I must say!
